Hi All! I'm a newbie that just joined. Great site and great info. I getting back into guns after being away with family and work for the past 12 years. Looking forward to learning more, especially with all the new laws.
BTW I'm going shooting in Livermore and I'm taking a couple of my AW's, do I need to take my DOJ registration paper from SB-23 with me? I haven't gone shooting since 2000 and I'm worried as soon as someone sees a hi cap mag or flash hider, that they will freak out.
Thanks for the help in advance.

I have a photocopy of my paperwork whenever I go out with a RAW but no one has ever asked to see my 'papers'.

Welcome to Calguns. Having a copy of your paperwork is cheap insurance against a misunderstanding.

You are not required by law to have the paperwork with you, but it could avoid drama if a situation got to the point of a police contact. People wont be worrying about the FH or mags, if they do, ignore them.

Welcome. I don't have an AW, but I have some big mags that I've owned since pre-ban. Even though I shoot at an open range, I leave them at home...just because...yunno...?
