What are the best places to get AR15 componets? (For a build like complete Uppers, Lower Parts Kits, Mags, Butt Stocks, etc.) Not just parts.

Here are a few that I know:

tenpercentfirearms.com
eaglefirearms.net
coldwarshooters.com
ddsranch.com

Any others?? Thanks

If you in the SF Bay Area, Reed's Indoor has tons of AR stuff and you will pay for it too. People are very helpful, but I've read others have not been very happy with em.
The Gun Exchange has more then most, but the old grouch (Mike) knows nothing about ARs. The dude that does know has vehicle problems most of the time. In other words isn't always there.
Just buy online :D

+1 for PK Firearms, they have just about everything a builder would need on their website. I ordered all of the lower parts I needed to complete a build from them. I did not want to buy a LPK since I had a Timney trigger, ran about $40.00 shipped and it arrived in 2 days.

I purchase goods from Midwayusa all the time. I purchased my DPMS complete upper, DPMS lower parts kit, and Vltor stock from them. Websites generally have no tax (if out of state) and cheaper prices. :D

If you're in So Cal... I've purchased from Gunrunners in Duarte and Ammo Brothers in Cerritos. They're both AR supporters.

I'd second that, but my money isn't good enough there, or so I was told.

:p

So go there and look at it, and then order it online. lol

I've ordered several times from them - pleasure to deal with every time. Always answer emails quickly, prices are some of the best online, and free shipping on orders over $50.

Brownell's has some good stuff for ARs as well. I purchased my 2nd generation KNS pins from them. I have purchased a bunch of other stuff from them over the years as well.

I stopped by the SJGE yesterday to pick up a Bushmaster 10 rounder. Mike's never given me any problems. Although he appears hard to approach and I understand that a lot of people may feel intimidated. I don't intimidate very easily though. If someone gives me crap I'll give it right back to them. Actually, he was pretty cheerful and talkative yesterday. Sometimes when the rug gets pulled out from underneath you, you tend to reflect on how you've been a complete d*ck in the past and work very hard to change that if given a second chance. Perhaps that's what's going on here. I don't know. I like to support the SJGE as much as I can because they were very helpful to me when I first learned about OLLs. I'm the type of person that will ask a lot of questions and they were always courteous and patient with me being anal about wanting to understand everything about the legalities of OLLs.

-Nice Shot in Redding has lots of AR parts
-San Jose Gun Exchange has alot of AR parts plus they tend to have, hard to find stuff to that no one seems to have. even with out the firearms they still managed to fill the place

Three pages of postings and know one points out the obvious sources of parts.
Bushmaster
Armalite
Rock river arms
The reason for that is generaly you can get better prices NOT going through the manufacturer

Del-ton told me when I called that they don't ship to California. Is this a new policy they started? It seems people here on Calguns have purchased from them in the past.

Was it somthing specificly they would not ship to california?

I emailed Del-ton when you or somebody else said this in a previous post. They told me that they ship Cal legal stuff to Cal. Certainly not rare to get conflicting answers however.

I just got my upper from Del-ton and fired it off for the first time today. totally awesome!! The quality was superb. The turnaround time took a while but they told me up front that they were slammed so I wasnt surprised or anything.

In addition to Del-ton, I also bought from Lanworld and PK firearms for my latest build. Both were awesome with great deals and super great turnaround.

Im planning a purchase from 10 percent, just havnt gotten around to it yet.
