I came across a new Steyr SSG 69 PIV .308 NIB

price is <1700 pre-tax/dros. Wondering if this is something worth picking up but had some questions/concerns. it's a threaded barrel with a flash hider that is neither pinned or welded. It's a 16.2" barrel designed for LE, threaded for suppressors.

Rare apparently and hard to come by, but here in cali... legal rifle in the stock configuration?

Yes, completely legal. They're really great and accurate rifles, though this version is usually overpriced. The only downside is the rotary magazines which are fragile. If you drop a loaded one, it will probably break. If you drop an empty one it might break.

Good rifles but finding parts and accessories could prove difficult.
