I finished my ar OLL build... well one of them. :) I used a 1:12 twist 24" wylde chamber ss upper with a lars grizzly lower and dpms parts kit. I have no pistol grip, just a sbr or srb style device on it. My question is can i use pre ban 20 round detachable mags? or does it have to be fixed? or not at all? I will post pics when i get a camera! Pics are posted

You can run your pre-ban mags as long as you dont have a pistol grip or other evil features. It is illegal to fix anything larger than a 10 round mag (that includes the bb) Congrats on the completed OLL. Lets see those pics!

No your are not. Possession of "high" cap magazines is not regulated in California. Only the sale, importation, or manufacture of "high" cap magazines is regulated.

Agreed... the only reason I click on these threads is because I expect to be greeted with pictures of some Cali legal OLL goodness. Now go out and get yourself a digital camera and start taking some pictures of your new baby ;)

Spends $700-$900 building a rifle and yet, won't spend the money to get a cheap Digital Camera on sale for $79.00. That's my kind of priorities!

Did some more shooting today, was a bit windy. here is the 100 yd target.

I did a best of .4moa on a 3 shot group.

Wonder if a match trigger will make that better?
