Posted on arf.com, an article about Jim Zumbo and his assinine statements about AR's and them being assualt rifles. Remington dropped all sponsorship of him and Outdoor Life Magazine. Good job Remington!

You certainly can't go wrong with a Remington, love my 700 and have every intention of building up another as a custom gun, maybe have GA Precision build it for me.

I feel even better about buying a new Remington 1100 tac 4 this weekend. It is nice to see a company stand for what is right.

Good for Remington.

Politically correct PR move or not they stood up for the right thing.

Savage 10fp is cool and all but the Remington 700 is just a classic rifle, it's like having a 1911 or whatever. I've heard some claim that Remington has turned out crap recently, I'm guessing that doesn't cover my rifle which I bought about 6 years ago. It has been flawless and drives tacks a plenty.

I would gladly give my money to Remington if they would release a commercial version of their US Army XM110 SASS competition entry, which happens to be a collaboration with DPMS.

Although it did lose to the Knight's Armament SR-25 derivative.

Anyone have the picture of the Smith & Wesson "sporting" revolver poster that politicians tried to ban?

Just a little fun with a dremel solves that problem quite easily :)

Go remington, guess maybe I'll upgrade from my 1100 to an 11/87
