Barrel: 14.7" Chrome moly barrel, chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1/7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a carbine-length gas system. Upper has M4 feedramps and is engraved "M4" above the gas tube hole, it features machined T marks, and a mil-spec finish. These uppers are made for us right here in the USA by a mil-spec manufacturer, and are marked with the Palmetto State Armory logo on the left side, up front, just below the rail.

Bolt: Bolt is made of Mil-spec Carpenter 158 steel, Shot peened, MPI and HPT. Gas key is secured with grade 8 fasteners and staked per mil-spec. Bolt carrier is parkerized outside, chrome-lined inside, and laser engraved with the Palmetto State Armory logo.

Hi PSA!

I'm about to attempt my first AR build, as documented here:

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=496297

I know NOTHING about building an AR, but my uncle has gunsmith tools and I'm eager to learn.

I'm getting a ton of recommendations about your kits and was wondering about this kit you have advertised. Some people have suggested companies like Plum Crazy use plastic internals and recommended against any kits that use plastics if I want reliability. I wanted to check to make sure your kit does not have any plastics.

Are you guys having any sales coming up soon? I'm going to need sights and mags too at some point.

These guys don't do plastic inside bits. They're good quality.

Consider this yet another recommendation.

Having recently assembled a PSA 16" kit (http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=487357), I can attest to the fact that their kits do have some plastic - specifically the buffer and furniture, but no plastic bits in FCG etc. Very solid, quality parts. You will not be disappointed.

Our LPK is 100% USA made and high quality. It doesn't have any polymer parts.

I'm not sure if we will be having any sales, but Black Friday is drawing near so you keep your eyes open.
