I just bought an STG-58 at my local weapons supplier/fishing supply/overpriced ammo house. My vision is still a tad blurry and I a hearing voices.....but I think its a good thing. I will post pics when I pick it up........I am my own valentine today. 16" barrel, full length handguards, bi-pod, the whole thing. I am a proud father.

Congrats on the Valentines Day present. Itís a safe bet that you'll love your SA58. I built my STG on a DS receiver. It's well worth the money. Looking forward to the pics.

Love my Sturmgewehr 58. More so than any other of my rifles (sorry m1A, AR15, K98k, ar-10). It's just a good solid rifle. Good choice! Happy valentines.

Well I got it at Turners and there were two different models there. One is the 16" with the short handguards and A@ style brake. Then there was the long handguard model, 16" barrel and a STEYR style brake with a bipod, which is the one I bought. I did not see this particular one on their website. It is awesome and I cannot wait to bring it home.

I just recently bought a SIG 510. So I can really relate. Now to find magazines. And before anyone asks no i'm not going to commit sacrilege by limiting a mag to 10 rounds.

Any shops in the Norcal area have these in stock?

I'll try to find some pics on the net, I got it on layaway so it will be a month till I have it in my sweaty hands. Never owned a .308 and I am so stoked I found it. I went in to payoff my SIG225 and it called to me from the rack. Im a sucker I guess for good hardware.

Pretty much this with a bi-pod and a STEYR style brake.
