I just bought one of those p6(225) police trade ins from turners. Great gun, trigger feels really good. First double action pull feels like a revolver but not too heavy for my taste. Single action follow up shots are sweet and crisp with shorter reset and the trigger needing only about 3-4 .lbs of pressure. Frame internals are in excellent condition. Had a little holster wear since it was holstered everyday, but the cop it was issued to(Officer Krause) didn't shoot it very much as the rifling in the barrel is still fresh and crisp. Judging from the shoulder rig it came with i bet that he was probably a detective or someone who worked at the office. Anyways it was a good deal for about $450 after dros, taxes, etc.

I'm wondering if anybody might be able to help with instructions for how to detail strip the slide so that I can install a new firing pin spring. Any help would be appreciatted. Thanks in advance :)

Here you go! http://www.topgunsupply.com/Sig-Sauer-Armorer-s-Course-DVD-P-SERIES-pr-131.html

This is what you are looking for. Very detailed Sig Armorer step by step how to including the slide/breech block/springs, etc disassembly and reassembly for a P225. This is the best DVD manual you can get for any Sig. I own one and highly recommend it for any Sig owner.

Thanks! I was able to remove breechblock and give the internals of the slide a thoruogh cleaning, which it needed. Based on the amount of gunk in there, seemed like the slide had never been opened before:eek:
