View Full Version : Anyone out there have a DPMS .308 OLL + Noveske Upper Assembly?
Just looking for some feedback if anyone has personal experience with this particular configuration.
More specifically, F2F/F2E or other related issues. -Please, no theories/hypotheses, just comments on personal experience here. Thanks! ;)
Noveske has not mfg. any as of yet that I know of....
Best to call John at Noveske...
I spoke to John at Noveske a while back. Though the .308 uppers have been available, they've been using the Armalite lowers for their complete rifle configs.

I didn't think that DPMS's .308 lower was an OLL, isn't it marked "Panther" making it listed?
hi Thmpr, yeah i'm considering it. the gb sounds like a good deal. i'm hearing that the fultons were made by dmps anyhow, different stamping of course. the dpms lpk should work w/no problem then.

the panther oll's in 223 are listed. the .308 is not.

The Lowers DPMS uses are "Fulton Amory" lowers, I know I bought one from CW shooters, and no they are not listed.

Thank you for the correction pksbshp :D
Thanks again for the input guys :)

Anyone out there have a DPMS (Fulton) .308 OLL + Noveske Upper Assembly?
If so, can you offer any feedback on your experience with this config?
thanks.

Normal lead time for Noveske barrels and uppers is 10-12 weeks. Since DPMS compatible .308 lowers just recently became available to California residents I don't think you will find someone with first hand experience with the Noveske/DPMS rifles in this state. Since nearly all of the parts on a Noveske upper are from the base manufacturer the reliability should be the same as complete DPMS rifles. DPMS has apparently done a better job with their .308 rifles than their .223 stuff.

Yeah, I've heard nothing but good things about their .308's.
They just don't happen to have (at the moment) what I'm looking for in an upper assembly. Otherwise I'd be going through them for that as well.

if you got the money to drop on a Noveske .308 upper another good option is to try Wes Grant at www.mstn.biz
