You can come to IDPA pistol or 3gun matches in San Diego at www.sandiegotacticalshooters.com. Stay after match for open shooting that allows bimetallic jacket ammo.

Raahauges is where I'll be going when I get my 74:

Pricey but go on weekdays so you can stay longer than 2 hours. Lytle Creek should be okay to shoot steel/bi-metal when it's been rainy.

so it doesnt matter if the case is steel, as long as the bullet is lead core?

They are going to take a good look at those rounds before they let you fire them. But as long as they follow their rules should be fine

Simple way to check. If a magnet is attracted to the projectile, it has steel.
