Hey all,

Just finished building my AR:

- Palmetto State Armory Lower (http://palmettostatearmory.com/1560.php)
- Palmetto State MOE Kit (stock, PSA LPK, and handgrip) (http://palmettostatearmory.com/598.php)
- Palmetto State Armory 4150 CL 1:7 Dissipator Upper (http://palmettostatearmory.com/2537.php)

All went smoothly and PSA is definitely recommended for price and service.

The transfer was done through Peter at Mt. Pleasant Arms and went without a hitch. He has the cheapest transfer fees that I could find (and the cheapest PMAGs) without compromising service. He went above and beyond for me and I cannot recommend him enough. Use him for any FFL or AR needs with confidence.

Crappy cell phone pics coming.

Thanks,
Matt

OP, was that the dissipator they have where it's a midlength gas system and rifle handguards? This one: Palmetto State Armory 16'' 4150 Chrome-Lined, Premium Mid-length Mock Dissipator Upper (http://palmettostatearmory.com/2537.php)

I was looking at the CMMG 18" rifle-length upper myself but am now considering the PSA ones. :)

Edit: Not the 'mock' disspator I thought at first.

I picked up the same upper. Real nice overall. Espescially for the price.

Tagged, I'm so close to pulling the trigger on one of these uppers.

I've only heard good things about PSA's uppers and they appear to have good specs and high quality materials.

Get them pics rolling!

since PSA doesn't sell any 16" barrels with rifle gas systems I am going to guess that's what it is.

They have the carbine length with midlength handguards, their "mock" dissipator, but its out of stock.

Hey all,

Pictures are attached to the first post.

Sorry for the misnomer, yes, this is a "mock" dissipator with the mid-length gas system.

The link posted above (http://palmettostatearmory.com/2537.php) is the upper I have.

Let me know if more specific pictures would be of interest; I can probably do better than my phone.

OP, very drool-worthy! I think I found the upper for my build and I want to thank you for finalizing it. Lol. Didn't know BRD was contagious via threads.

I'd like to see range reports on the PSA's. And not I shot 20 flawless rounds either. Btw the dissy looks good.

I have two PSA mid length uppers and both have beed 100%. They seem to only have 5.56 barrels with 1:7 twist but from what I read it might be more versatile with 1:9. I never compared accuracy so this might net be an issue.

Have 220 rounds through it with no issues so far. This is my first firearm and I have limited previous rifle experience so you will have to go to someone else for accuracy reports. Have a 22lr kit headed this way and 500 more 5.56 rounds as well; will update with anything of interest.
