I wanted something close to the M-16 I had back in my USMC days, but with a scope option. I will probably put a riser on the scope, as the charging handle "rackability" is a bit tight with the scope on.

OH, AM I LOVING IT! I got the whole thing, and a bullet button from them (-scope -sling).

(I am aware that it is a bit greezy, as I just slapped the lower together, and spray CLP lubed it...)

I don't think they are a big company, but it looks GREAT.

Just had to post about this company, as I can't see anything being better than a Zombie theme. I have a Spikes color filled Zombie and Spider in-route too.

Customer service was OUTSTANDING, and I was a bit particular on what I wanted, but they worked with me!

I don't get to take it out until next week, as all local range memberships are full (I am on the waiting list), so going with a co-worker, and at his mercy. hehehee

FYI I wanted to assemble the lower myself so I knew how to put it together in case I ever have to replace something.

(Suggestion1: If you are putting the lower together yourself, and have never done it before, please do it on a black rug so you don't go around the kitchen in the prone looking for a piece of brass in the dark with a flashlight [which also had to be prone] to find it. Just saying that one part, the "pivot pin retainer?" dropped 2x...)

Nice but hte scope is not for close up. That is for sure...You will be covering those that run though. :)

Nice...still considering going back to the A2 stock myself... Love seeing pics with that.

It was a beautiful day out, nice breeze, just enough sun light with small white fluffy clouds... "I'll build this lower outside. What could possibly go wrong sitting in the grass, under a tree working with small springs and pins..."

Hence the 20" barrel, keeping "Zombies" at a distance... :D

I can eyeball over the scope for <50yd.

The only thing that I don't like is that the stock comes just below the lower, where it attaches...

A2 non-adjustable, in case of a featureless future, BB for now, and no pinning an adjustable... for now.

I like those Zombie defense lowers. If I build another AR platform Im going to use that or a mega lower.

I tried the .223 lazer sighter, and i couldn't see the lazer with the tall front post, as the sight is too high, so I dropped the scope on it.

Scope zero'd with the laser fine so I dropped the iron sights until I get a smaller front, but that is "in the mail"... or should be.

I prefer iron sights, as that is what I shot Expert in boot with. Scope to see if it is more accurate than everyone's 14-16in.

Any specifics as to why the A2ish front sights might be too high, as it was the closest thing to the A2 size as I recall.

Is it just that the 6/3 rear is shorter than the 8/3 rear sights?

Looks like the scope is too far backwards (might be OK for offhand)...I'm 6'+ so I need the eye piece somewhere over the receiver or at least flush with the charging handle (depending on eye relief of the scope and which stock is on the rifle). Check out the one piece offset scope mount...no need to lap and they shift the scope forwards the correct amount.

Like the cuff sling...don't see too many people using those.

Will a zombie killer rifle take out werewolves, vampires, and that predator alien thing?? I don't have a lot of money to spend and wanted to get something that would cover all the bases when the SHTF. Thanks.

If it bleeds, we can kill it...

It should be able to take out Zombie-ħ, for sure!

When in doubt, double-tap-headshot that sh!+...

My friend is terrible at standing and free hand up close with his AR so I relegate him to roof top assignment where he is good at long distance. Then we just leave him up there when all is done haha.
