Hello all. Picked up my first gun yesterday. I bought the Hi-Point carbine 995ts after doing my own research, watching and reading reviews. This is exactly what I need and for the price all I can say that I'm happy with my purchase. Going to take it to the range and try it sometime this month. Already ordered 2 extra magazine with the mag stock holder, forward grip, factory flashlight, and the compensator. Gun comes with mag lock.

I dont get it... that thing looks evil?

This is legal here?

Drooling over the .45 atm but I didn't think it was legal?

Looks very tacticool with all the attachments

yeah bullet button came with it. I believe turners can get you the .45 as well coz that's the first question the guy asked me if I want the .45 or the 9mm. After watching videos on youtube, I already knew what I'm gonna do with it. Thanks.

I am not familiar with that carbine, is that a 9mm? Looks nice, and welcome to the forums. Post some photos of your range shoot in Centerfire Rifles.

Welcome! Give us a report on that carbine! I also am very tempted to buy one. I own a hippoint c9 with over 1000 rounds with out any hiccups!

hey man thanks. for the most reviews I read and watch, everyone seems happy with it. I'm a person that really can't afford expensive guns as of right now like the AR, I have so many hobbies like cars and fixing up scooters specifically the Honda Ruckus and I'm just getting into guns. I know they hold value but my main purpose is for home defense and if an inexpensive carbine like this can do the job then I still got more money towards my other interests. I've shot different types of guns from .22 to 50cal(on a Navy ship) and during those times I have no interest with it and now being a homeowner and a husband with 2 kids, I realized that it's about time to get one "just in case some **** goes down".

I have a friend from east coast that has a C9 and he is happy with it and I also considered getting one before. Like I said I'm all about inexpensive firearms that can do the job. ammo is so cheap too.. I bought 500 rounds of Federal at walmart and paid 128(11.97 per box+tax). Then I saw the .22 which is like $18/500rds and now I'm looking at getting a Marlin 795, still an inexpensive gun and heard good things about it.

go get one man, read reviews and youtube videos about the 995ts. I still haven't shot it so I cannot fully recommend it to people. If something goes wrong, their lifetime warranty will always take care of us.
