These systems seems to allow for simulated full-auto fire. Are these legal in CA?

Don't think so. However you could do the rubber band bump fire method to simulate full auto.

Not that I have any of these but, What if you had them while they were legal. Where they to be destroyed at a certain time. Where they grandfathered in. I remember they used to sell them at the shows way back in the 90's. You would walk by their tables and watch the video and wonder if they worked. I heard noone could ever get them to work. I think they were called the hell trigger or hell fire or something.

NO, they are considered "multiburst trigger activators" and are very illegal.

Correctamundo. Run, don't walk.

Irrelevant as to whether or not it's on an AW. It's not a semiauto AW evil feature restricted to 122761.1PC, it's completely evil even if on a bolt gun...

There's also a BATF 'recall'/warning about a new widget that was being sold in Shotgun News. So there's Federal issues on a couple of these things too.

In fact, I think it's illegal to have one even if you don't OWN a gun.

Yup, same PC. Man I'm glad it's illegal to be a ninja.

Hell no you can't... well, not unless you really want to, and face possible Felony charges.

Using a rubber band to simulate bump firing is replicating a trigger activator, which is a Felony in California. Also, a shoestring with a loop at each end is an unlawful auto sear...

That part I'm not so sure of, as the rubber band is just acting as a very strong trigger return spring. I could just as easily put a really heavy trigger return spring in a gun to achieve the same affect and I seriously doubt that would be illegal. The shoestring I know is illegal, I've seen the memo, but the rubber band is only making for a heavier trigger. Heck, I could even achieve these results without putting in a heavier spring or using the rubber band, I could simply make the trigger system very safe and give it gobs of positive engagement angles. Would have horrendous trigger slap, but it'd be perfect for bump firing.

It acts just like a Hellfire Multi-Bust trigger activator. Same principal. I would avoid it like the plague....

I thank our wise overseers everyday they put an end to convenience store hold-ups with people carrying throwing stars and numb-chucks.
