http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/regs/aw.htm This was a great link that actually had 12276(e)and (a-c) weapons. At some point, DOJ took it down.
DWCL Assault Weapon section *still* ommits it, even though they claim this section was updated 01/2007.
Is 12276(e) still up anymore? Think DOJ is hiding something, or just rampantly incompetent?

They probably removed it because it no longer applies.... struck down by Harrott.

Its true that its been invalidated by Harrot, but it really takes the legislature to clean it out. Its still in the actual PC:

I chalk it up to incompetence. Besides, they still have this crap memo (http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/forms/pdf/AWpolicyrev4.pdf) up. Sorry, but the language (which I know has already been dissected and discredited) in there about "being able to restored makes it still illegal" still makes my blood boil a bit, because they're still using tax-payer's money to continue their dis-information campaign, instead of telling the truth. Maybe Brown will change this, maybe not, but at the minimum, take that stupid "notice" full of lies off.

I'll bet they are getting their legal ducks in a row in preperation for the Hunt case, which is all about the clarity of the assault weapons laws.

Are you referring to this page?
http://www.calguns.org/CalDOJPage.html
I found a cached copy on the waybackmachine and rebuilt it in an HTML editor and then saved it to the new server so even if they drop the wayback version we still have it.
Here is the url for the wayback version, it is a tad different then mine in that I had to edit the table at the top to remove the yellow lines they came out way too wide.

That page was replaced with:
http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/regs/chapter40.pdf
because 979.10 & 979.11 where the lists were in the regulations were renumbered into Chapter 40, 5495 (12276(a)-(c), and 5499(12276(e)) in 2006. The link is on:
http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/regs/
I don't believe the actual updated lists were ever contained in the penal code sections, only in the regulations that referenced the penal code.
The update for 2007 is in 12276.5(b), adding the Jan. 1, 2007 limit on the AG's ability to list, as a result of AB2728.
