Thinking about doing a PPT with someone I know.

Any known issues?

Quality .45 pistol, IMO. I desperately want one and will get one, but I have a few 1911's to hold me over until I get around to buying one.

It's excellent. After having one on my short list for years, I finally bought one.

The only thing I'd do differently is put in a short reset trigger.

They are usually very accurate and shoot almost as soft as a 9mm.

I got mine as CPO guns from a LE trade-in

I have this exact gun and really enjoy shooting it. As others have said, the stainless frame soaks up most of the recoil. I've probably shot 1000 rounds through it and it's been flawless. I love the weight and balance of this gun. Buy it for sure!

The Sig P220 stainless .45acp is a great shooter.
Nice balance, soft shooter like the others have posted.
One of my favorites in my collection.

first gen 220ST uses the SPORT frame and the rail aint milspec 1913...

you will need an adapter from sig to make it use normal rail stuff...

mine was broken. it was shooting all over the place. turns out it was operator error... ;)

I prefer st's with the external extractor. Many have said that they haven't experienced issues with the internal. I say go for it!

Get one with an external extractor and change the stock takedown lever for the beefed up version with a bullseye on the right side. Don't have these? Probably be fine, but then again you might not be in a pinch.

well, mine mulfunctioned after 100 rounds. hammer would not drop as seen in video.
sent it back to sig and was fixed and returned to me in less than 2 weeks like new and no failures since then.

Feels like a tank. Something about "to hell and back..."
