It also doesn't work that great. I've had to use other methods to remove the e2 grips.

You don't really need a tool, just put your fingers into the empty magwell and push outward really hard and it comes right off.

Hmmm, they don't put that information in their owners manual? Maybe you don't have one?

Grip removal according to Sig is an "Armorer Only" activity, I doubt it would be in the manual.

thanks for the info. i got my P229 converted back in nov of last year, and it didn't come w/ instructions. i always wondered what the hell thank thing was.
