Funny I was just looking at some pic of it. Looks like a great pistol. Ive never shot a CZ but the design looks very good.

I like mine alot. It is really accurate but it has a little more recoil than the fullsize cz75b. They are all steel so they have some heft to them. I converted mine to single action only but I just converted it back. Mark

CZs are amazing pistols, ESPECIALLY at the bargain price they sell for.

Even if they cost hundreds more they would be amazing pistols.

They are the best-kept secret in the pistol world.

There are, however, two minor downsides to owning a CZ:

1. Magazines are expensive. ($40ish)
2. Holster selection is limited. (But there ARE a good number of holsters out there.)

CZ75 P01 here.

No issues with steel-cased ammo.

I've read online that they choke on aluminum-cased Blazer ammunition, but that's internet hearsay until I actually see evidence in person.

I never payed more then 25 for standard cap rebuilds, or 29 for 19round rebuilds.

For holsters, Ill probally be selling my safariland 5187, and my houge wrap around grips, just waiting to see if the SP01 will fit them first.

LOVE the PCR version of the compact (aluminum frame, and the dust cover has a different shape)

Russian steel case ammo has harder primers so if you use lighter main springs in czs you can get light primer strikes. I also shot a match with my75sa and blazer aluminum cases and I did get extraction problems. The gun runs fine with brass cases.

If you have a source for OEM magazines for the CZ75 Compact series for $25, please share!

If you have any standard capacity full size mags you can also use them with sp-01 mag bases on them in the compact. They look like this. Mark

They didn't do it for me :( (and I even bought a shotgun from them a few months ago). Wanted a hi cap "rebuild kit" for my SP-01... no dice.

Aww, heck, $32?? Man, I paid $42 each for the 2 extra mags I bought for my P-01. Gonna have to bookmark that site. Yeah, I sure do wish though someone made 10 round compact mags cheaper with the rubber base plates. Mine got torn to shreds from dropping them on the ground from speed reloads during a class.

On concrete???:43::43: It's mostly the rubber baseplates that take the damage on mine though. I'd hate to see what the flush metal plates from the Mecgar mags might look like after a few drops on concrete though.

I like it. Handy little thing. Still want the full size though.

I have a CZ75 Compact .40. It was made after the magazine issues, and it has been nothing but reliable. It shoots great! But, it's heavy, so I ended up taking it off my CCW. I took my wife out and it's the one pistol I have that she likes the most, so I basically lost it to her. So, now I ned ot order another one...

Mainly gravel, some concrete. I run all MecGar 17+2's with the plastic baseplates.

SA only Flat trigger. I like the cz75 SAO trigger better though.
