I was looking into buying a off roster pistol a XDm 45 cal bi tone. With all the fee, tax, dros plus hand gun safety cert. i was given a price of $860. And for the competition version (i was just curious on the price but was thinking about getting one) i was quoted $1025.
And a sig p238 rainbow tit. color i was quoted for about $785.

Are these priced considered regular for people that lives in cali? Or is it a bit over priced?

Or would it be cheaper to buy one out of state and have it shipped to a dealer that can do the single shot conversions.

Just wondering about your opionions. Thanks

Order it from Table Rock Arms in Oregon and then have it shipped to Rob at Golden State Tactical.

$950ish OTD @ Valkyrie Arms for the Black 45 5.25 Competion add $75 more for the Bi-Tone version.

The Sig P238 would be $783 or so OTD but I do not think they have any of those in stock currently, call, PM, or e-mail them to get a more precise answer.

Ryan @ Table Rock Arms might be able to do it for less. Looks like he just started doing XDM .45's.

The XDM 3.8" / 4.5" (9mm / .40 cal) is $630 black or $680 SS (shipped). The .45 cal XDM tends to be ~$25 more than the 9 / .40. So it's a safe bet that the 4.5" / 3.8" XDM in .45 cal will probably be around $705 shipped.

Pistol: $705
Safety Cert: $25
Dros (What I was charged at RifleGear): $75
Receipt is not shipped with the pistol, so RifleGear does not charge the tax. YMMV.

Total, out the door, for a .45 cal XDM (not 5.25 comp) should be around $805.

Alternately, I'm pretty sure Ryan @ Table Rock Arms still charges a flat rate of $100 for the SSE conversion service. So, take any XDM that you find online and add $200 to the price. That should cover all your additional charges to get you out the door.

I got my XDM 9mm through a straight trade. Had to give up my P226R for it, so I guess I "paid" about 850 for the XDM. Guy I got it from said he got it through SSE via VA and that was about the going rate anyway. Considering the headaches and waiting that go with that process, as a CA resident, I feel it was a fair value. I wouldn't trade my XDM for the world. I love this thing.

WOW that's pretty cheap compared to what i'm getting quoted in the mid $860's.

Is it still the same price at Valkyre for a xdm 45 bitone? Price might of went up.

The problem with me is that the closes 07ffl is in tracy and i'm in sac. I would have to make 2 round trips which will total about 3hrs. I don't know if it's really worth it for me.
I've been looking to getting an XDm and a sig p238.

Well we do have an 07ffl here in sac, but they only do glocks at the moment.

I wonder if tracy rifle and pistol would be willing to give a discount??? I dought it, but i may ask anyways:D

I'm really considering it but the price is holding me back.

A discount for being located farther away in Sac? Yeah right.

You could always have it shipped from Table Rock Arms in Oregon to Rob @ Golden State Tactical.

It doesn't have to be an 07ffl, it can be done through an 01ffl. I don't have a barrel "yet", will soon though.
Ryan at Table Rock is good to deal with too.

I got to shoot a XDM9 4.25 inch barrel that belonged to a LEO at the range last week. I was really impressed. I have a XD40 and its nice but the XDM is a whole different monster. The ergos of the gun are supreme. I wish I could get it here in this state without driving to tracy,ca.
