Well, first I use to have a 1911 a long time ago. I let it go and I've been kicking myself ever since.

So here I am DROSing a new Ruger 10/22 Target and I can't keep my eye off this sweet Sig 1911 Target with the Nitron finish. This thing felt so good in my hands. Couldn't resist. It was a much nicer Harley ride on the way home knowing I am returning back into the 1911 family after many years. And on the 100th anniversary like I told myself I would do not too long ago.

Here are some Sig stock pics...What do you think?

I like the fact that without looking at the letters, just by looking at the front of the slide, you can tell it's a sig.:D

Nice choice!

I got myself a Sig 1911 Nitron Rail in August. Basically the same thing but with a rail and fixed night sights instead of target sights, and I love it! Cost more than I wanted to spend on a pistol, but I too couldn't resist, and I am glad I got it.

Nice! I too just bought a Sig in 45 in a single stack, not a 1911 but man Sig's sure do feel nice in the hands.

I own a Sig 1911 with the rail and love it. The Sig shoots great and has been flawless so far. I also own a Kimber Warrior but feel the Sig 1911 is a better buy. Sig 1911s were a little problematic when they were first released because the parts were made in didferent places and the assembled at the Sig plant. Now all parts are made in house so the quality control is back up to Sig standards. You won't regret it. Worth the money.
