While I started on semi-automatic pistols, I've since come around to appreciate revolvers more. How could you not with these beauties?

Very nice, I love the python and who can argue with 8 rounds of .357mag? Thanks for sharing.

oh man , so jealous. The two revolvers that I would purchase. How do you like that 627? Any critiques?

How do you like the ported 627?

The ported 627 shoots .38spl like .22lr out of my 617. .357mag has a little more recoil to it, but nothing really of note. I really like the trigger - DA pull is a good weight, and SA is a very crisp break. I've also shot the 627 without the compensator and there is a noticeable but not significant difference in muzzle flip. I think with hotter hand loads, it'll become more important.

I debated between the v-comp and the "standard" performance center 627. In the end, I just preferred the slab-side barrel and two tone finish.

Kick *** Python, love the original wood stocks, so glad you didn't replace them with goodyear junk. Thanks for sharing.

Now you need a Anaconda...

So jealous of the 2-tone V-comp. Couldn't find one when I picked mine up so I got the stainless. An amazing piece of art.

Damn you Dolemite for posting those pics. ;) I've been jonesing for one of these since I shot your 627 v-comp. Just when I finally convinced myself I didn't need anything else I had to open this thread. Is Gunbroker or Guns America my only option for this or would a SoCal shop have one of these?

hey Lazydog- I have yet to see one of these in a So-Cal shop. I had to order mine from out of state. Luckily it is on the list so once you find one, it's just a matter of a FFL transfer.

I'm thinking about ivory grips for the python. I'll probably go with the composite look alikes first to see how I like them. Pictures really don't do the royal blue finish any justice.
