I have never purchased anything from them, but I saw a Calguns thread this evening regarding Saigas at J & G Sales for $299 + $15 shipping.

Yes but go to JG sales or Arms of America. Arms of America will match the cheapest price online.

I've been in and purchased directly. Their staff was helpful, knowledgeable and generally great people. They even went so far as to invite me back just to hang out whenever, which I thought was extremely cool. If I lived closer, I would.
Still, I'll definitely go back for other purchases down the road. The sale was smooth, and things couldn't have been easier from payment, to 10-day wait, to hand-off of the DROS'ed AR lower I purchased there (along with a bunch of other bits and pieces of course).

I bought one a while ago when they were $399, ended up getting rid of it a couple weeks later. I really hated the sights

yeaa i see. Im sure i will too. But the point of this is mainly train and plink off of veryyy cheap ammo. I also love the featurless idea. I would never run it on my AR/AK. But a Saiga fits it perfect. cheap ammo. quick mag release. the whole "mini14" grasp around the stock of shooting that i love, really makes me want one of these. Mainly want to just let go and throw un-countable amounts of lead down range with this thing for training. instead of using all my bulk .223/7.62x39(yea, pretty cheap also. but i like to savor that ammo)
