I have tried searching and from what I think I've read, they used to be banned or not legal for sale but are now legal for PPT (unless using the .410 barrel)...
I am looking to sell one with the .30-.30 barrel, but want to make sure its legal to do so in this ridiculous state we live in.
Thanks for your help!

Yup, legal.
30-30 no problem.
You may have this confused with shotgun shell barrels, which are illegal for a handgun in CA.

to be more specific, nothing that's exclusively or even partially designed to fire a fixed shotgun shell. This means none of the common guages, along with the .45LC/.410 barrel. THe fact that the .45 barrels are almost always made in such a way that allows for the .410, they're generally a no-go.
Rifle and pistol cals are usually good to go.
(This is based on a pistol Contender, not a rifle contender, selling a long-gun shotgun is fine).
I'll take the barrel! I've no need for another frame.
