Second outing for the P22. First session was all CCI Mini Mags, per suggestions here and elsewhere. Flawless in all of those. Today was the real test - bulk Winchester 555 ammo.

Got to say - that ammo sucks! Wildly varying powder charges, even though I only had one failure to detonate (and the round subsequently fired when fed into the chamber a second time), and accuracy about what you'd expect from bulk .22. However, this little gun is just fun fun fun! I love it. Makes shooting my 1911 almost like a chore, now! :D

We took ours out yesterday too. I have the 3.4 and 5 " barrels ,been using the remington yellowjackets and its worked great . My son was shooting it faster than I could reload all 6 magazines.

I got the 3.4 " model off Calguns , You gotta be quick. I picked the 5" model off a local gun store last year. I really like the 3.4" model, Ive got big hands and I still grip this thing perfectly. I keep it cleaned and lubed and I havent had jamming or ftf problems at all.CCI mini mags and remington yellow jackets are all Ive tried , both feed great.

I love mine. Love the mag release lever and since it's so lightweight, it really makes me work on a smooth trigger pull. I am more accurate with my USP .45 than this little guy, lots to work on!! :25:

Ammo brothers in Cerritos. When I went there, they had three kinds - the OD frame one that I bought, one with a silver-colored slide also with the 3.5 inch barrel, and an all-black one with the 5.5" barrel. That one was like $500+, though, and in any case, I liked the smaller one anyway.

At first, its light weight and small size threw me off and made me miss the Ruger Mark II that I sold a little while ago, but now that I'm used to it, I'm loving it more every outing.

BTW, not all the holes in the target are from the P22 - I was also shooting my Sig 522 Swat standing offhand at 25 yards.
