View Full Version : Couple questions about mags in CA

I own an AR15. I want to have mags that look like the 30 round versions but are CA legal. I'm pretty sure that you can do this, how would I go about doing this and making sure I am legal. I saw a thread on how to "DIY" but I would like to just buy something that looks cool and does the job right. In all honesty this is just to "look cool" when I show it to my friends.

Same thing but for a glock 17, I know the 29 round extended clips are not legal, however is there a way to have them and still be legal? For example can I have a 29 round mag that only holds 10 rounds?

Also, is there a way to own 30 round mags for the Zombie apocolypse? For example can I own them but have them dissassembled? Is that legal? Or do I have to assume that when McDonalds food changes the state of humanity I have to defend myself with ten round mags against an army of obese zombies?

just curious about what is legal and what isn't. I don't want to break any laws!!!

Hmmm, I don't know if I have ever heard this question asked before. Interesting...

:D Sorry, but I'm too spent to answer at this moment. I'm sure someone else will jump in with a more useful reply soon enough.
