Probably a dumb question, but I guess this is the best place to ask it. I read the PDF from the state about closing 70 state parks as of September 6th(?). Limekiln was on that list. This made me sad as I like the park. I called the park the other day, and someone actually answered the phone. They said that I was misinformed, and the park is not and will not be closed. So I went down there and sure enough they are wide open to camping and day-pass users like they have always been. Had a great time and am happy that it is apparently not closed, but what the heck is going on with the state park closures? Also, if anyone has some suggestions for nice parks to visit in that area, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
