You can always try Gunbroker or Flea-bay

Don't know if this will help, but the Beretta Neos is based on a similar design. Perhaps the grips can be modified for the older Colt.

Ok.. I've got to know.. side-by-side how's this thing compare to a SW 422? Ruger Mk2? Buckmaster?

My wife picked up a 422 last year and I gotta admit I adore shooting it but had the Sig Trailside on my bucketlist for a .22 semi...

After seeing this thing I think I'm falling out of love with the Sig.

Picked up my 6" barrel version this year and love it. My buddy has the 4" version and I'm pretty sure he enjoys it also.

SCZ - I can only tell you how the MK II shoots as I've not tried this Colt yet -

There's a side by side comparision of this Colt and the Berreta Neos - Very much similar in design -

I've a few other .22s semi-autos - I like em all - Just hate taking down the Ruger for cleaning -

I am not sure what happened - I was given this without much history -

Oh my!!

I'd assumed you'd at least function checked the action and test fired once before you sat on it for a decade

I looked at the exploded drawing and it looks like you've got enough there to test fire from a vice with a lanyard, but it's not worth the risk if you don't have that kind of set-up.

So... when's the grip getting in?
I want pics!!
OMG PICS!!!!
I'm dying here...

Seriously you have NO idea how happy I was to get that message I'd found the right part.. there were a couple other places I was looking at that would have required phone calls and were quoting twice the amount that one on ebay was.

I'm just dying to see this thing back together.

Looks great, that was fortunate you were able to resurrect it. You will like the way it shoots, but it's a heifer, no doubt about it. I have to rest after a couple mags through mine.

"Colt Cadet .22 LR Target Pistol"

You don't see many of them in CA.

The video below says it can go off if dropped.

(Just thought I'd mention it. Don't know if that is true.)

Congrats on finding grips! That is very cool that Calgunners stepped up and helped you.

Since these grips seem pretty rare you might want to drop these guys a line:
http://vintagegungrips.net/wantfreegrips.html
And see if they would be interested in using those grips to make a mold. Apparently they will give you a free pair of any grips they make if they use your grips to make a mold.

Just an idea.

Congrats, I love that little gun. It has eaten any ammo I put through mine. Just an FYI...I lost my rear sight a while back, and its taken me years to find a replacement. Dont break / loose anything, parts are a pain to find.
