Yeah, just contact Troy, I'm sure they'll send you a new one either cheap or free.

just in case nobody else had said so, give troy a call. I have to ask, how did you lose this part?

I'm in need of one of those as well.

Yeah...when I realized it this morning, the first thing I did was post here. The second thing I did was email Troy.

how did you lose this part?
I'm not sure exactly...I must have not screwed the part in enough after removing it from one of my rifles a while back. I go into the safe this morning to see about mounting it on another one of my rifles, and here we are...

Good, I'm not alone:pinch:

they kind of gave me the run around about a striped handguard, The good news is they took care of me in the end. I give them a B+ :)

My last two projects have primarily been Troy (rails, sights, grips) and it's hard for me to justify spending any more. Troy is affordable (not cheap) and the quality has been impressive on all of their parts. I just put a pistol-length rail on a Sig 556 SBR project and everything went on as smoothly as it could.

This customer service just adds to their reputation.

Most the big name brands will send replacement parts totally on their dime with no questions asked. Aimpoint, Surefire and Trijicon have all done that for me in the past.
