Electronic earmuffs.

I can hear all kinds of crazy stuff if I turn mine up at the range. I can hear .22LR hit steel at 200 yards. I can hear the friggin freeway at the local range, and it's miles away.

That's a lawn-sniper rifle. If you brought it inside and put it next to the kitchen sink, it'd be a counter-sniper rifle.

Also, periods and commas are your friend. Seriously.

No, it's not College. Educated adults use proper grammar and punctuation every day in the "real" world.

And OP, maybe you should ask this of the guy who let you shoot it instead of people who can't possibly read the chamber marking on the barrel?
;)

This is prime sig material right here!

And OP, like everyone else has said, it is a rifle. Unless someone were to have experience with that same rifle there is no real way of saying what "it" is...

I don't think anyone could tell you for sure what the rifle is chambered in from looking at its exterior. The photo is not high quality enough for me to make out what action it is. From the length of the bolt it's a long action but that's as good a guess as I'd be willing to make.
