View Full Version : 92fs control parts
My friend just ordered a 92fs inox and is disappointed in the black controls.
I have searched every where and can only find black replacements, any suggestions?

Check the classifieds. Post a WTB ad.
And yes, those black controls look like crap on the Inoxs.
I was afraid of that, I take it they cant be found to just buy without the hassles?

You have no idea. :)
I bought some of mine from Brignoli in Italy. Some from guys on Beretta Forum, some from Brownells.
There is another option, which sounds cheesy, but works quite well. I had some parts bead blasted on one gun of mine and they look identical to stainless. And, no, they don't rust, and I have talked to other guys who have done the same, and no rusting issues.
Primarily the trigger bar, the take down lever, the takedown lever lock, trigger pin (can be sanded), the extractor. I had another guy do the safety - taking that apart is difficult, IMO.
The trigger is the part where you are between a rock and a hardplace. The polycoated trigger has to be replaced with a stainless trigger (or a metal trigger - older, and beadblasted).
Good luck, PM me if more questions...
thanks Orange, its for my friend so I will relay the info and tell him to join. thank u
