Hi, I like to ask all the members that own a Springfield Armory 1911 TRP full rail with the part number PC9105L or/and PC9105LCA.
What is the physical differences between these two model?
Hypothetical questions.
If I put these two pistols in your hand, without the case, how can you tell which one is the CA approved TRP?

PC9105L is the half rail version and no longer on the DOJ safe handgun list.

PC9105L is the half rail version
That is correct now.
But for this situation, let said it is the used older model, which is full rail.

My guess would be that the CA version has a magazine disconnect safety and the other doesn't, which wouldn't be obvious by just looking at it. But I have no first-hand information on that and I don't feel like searching for it.

PC9105LP is the half rail model and PC9105LCA is the full rail model.

The only difference is the rail length.

I hate to ask a dumb question, but is this PC9105LCA pistol shown on the springfield website anywhere? In the catalog you get from their site? I can't find the damn thing listed anywhere except sites where it's for sale... their naming system doesn't seem to be in any order.

Springfield custom shop, it's a low production item.

It's not on their website. You either have to order it from the Custom Shop or wait until they do a run. Springfield produces the full rail TRP but it's only certain times during the year and because of this, a production full rail TRP is very limited. You'll be able to get it through the custom shop but the price tag and wait time are ridiculous.
