Like: Portable high power :D. Maneuverability. Great accuracy, I'm realistic, this isn't a sniper rifle, I don't plan on shooting this over 250 yards.

Dislike: On mine? nothing in particular. On others? I dislike people building AR pistols out of the cheapest parts they could fine. Then when they malfunction, they come out and say AR pistols suck:rolleyes:. Not only do you have to be real careful about parts going into your average size AR build but you must be extra careful with the parts going on your AR pistol builds. In AR pistols you definitely get what you pay for and some manufacturers just don't go together.

Best manufacturers: LWRC(M6A2 pistol) and Noveske(Diplomat), the Sig is also great but I prefer ones with buffer tubes since we can't have stocks.

What Do I own: Noveske 8.5 inch diplomat upper and VA arms lower. If I were to have them build one from a Noveske lower, their info would of been on it anyway, so I said screw it and used their lowers instead. Their graphic is bad ***:D.

OP, are you in the market for an AR pistol?

I am in the
"That might be fun to have." phase of my buying cycle.

What do you like about them? Fun to shoot, fairly accurate given the short barrels, muzzle blast gets attention (evil fun), lots of questions about how I got that pistol.

Dislike? Dang it, I want mine to have a buttstock. When I move to a free state, it will. <sigh>

Best manufacturers? No opinion there, I have assembled my own. Not particularly in love with RRA after getting a pair of problematic carbine uppers, but nothing other than that. I will say that I would not pay the inflated prices most retailers want for theirs.

What do you own? An 11" barreled version, 7.5" version, and a 7" (approximately) dedicated .22lr without a buffer tube. All are based on 80% receivers that I have completed.

Oh wow, you know I actually thought they looked stupid but after seeing that being holstered I am thinking about getting one.

Hater's gonna hate!

They are a low-carb, low-calorie good time. What's not to love?!

Built mine from scratch with a bunch of bastard parts - runs flawlessly.

I think they're neat, that's all. I like the RRA version with no buffer tube on the rear end, that tube sticking out on most is my main dislike. I've used the Sig 556 pistol and it's fun, but I think it's something you have to work at a bit, develop a learning for.

It looks like it's just one of those one-size-fits-all tacticool holsters that has been adjusted out as far as it will go. Simple, but effective!

They can be very accurate.

Their weight makes the recoil very mild.

Probably lots of fun to bump fire but I haven't tried yet.

Yeah! I have to admit the cool factor is a big part of my wanting one, A pal has a Draco but I find it too clunky. The RRA piston model has caught my fancy. Anyone have one?

Buffer tube kills it for me. Guess thats why I prefer the Dracos.

The RRA PDS is piston-driven with no buffer tube!
