I posted this in the rifle section - but it may get more direct response here...

anyone use tritium A2 sight post?...

I like the idea of the white stripe on the new XS 24/7 tritium post http://xssights.com/index.php?nID=sights&cID=Sights&pID=sights&sID=tactical however, I'm concerned that it is too wide (not ideal for longer distance)... Trijicon is also square and wide...

I'm more leaning towards the Meprolight: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=161116 since it's a round post it should be thinner- but their site doesnt list specs (so I dont know for sure how wide or tall it is)... I figure since they state it is designed for A1 & A2, it should be fine... *I cant seem to post a link to meprolight's AR post on their site - so I used Midway

Anyone have opinions - or use them?...

I tried a Trijicon on my DI carbine and hated it.
You're right about the too wide issue. Craps up the sight picture at long range.

Thanks for your response... I'm pretty sure I'm going with the Mepro...
