I cant find a standard COLT DELTA ELITE, GRIP SAFETY. I have looked at Midway, brownells, Numrich, ect... I can not find one for the life of me. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks

Here are some pics of the grip safety I am looking for.

"1911 .45" style ones fit just fine.
(look for one that says "for Series 80" to be sure).
Are you looking for a drop-in or a custom fitted one?

I am looking for a Delta Elite grip safety. Sorry for the confusion.

Any standard 1911 grip safety that works with a commander style hammer will work with your Delta Elite.

What type of grip safety would you like InGrAM? If you're looking for a beavertail then either Wilson drop-in or a fitted Ed Brown would be my recommendation but you'll have to contend with refinishing or touch-up on a fitted grip safety.

He's looking for a standard commander grip safety. It is scalloped to allow for the ring to not contact the grip safety upon cocking. Check gunbroker. I have a few but i never part with them. Colt stopped producing them awhile ago. You might be able to find a take off from a newer commander.
EDIT: here you got lucky http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=251742188#PIC
I would buy it ASAP

Necessity is the mother of invention.
A good file and some cold blue can get things done fast.

Here is a colt one like I linked you. This one was from a Delta Elite I parted out that had a cracked frame.
