I just picked up my new baby today. A Sig 522 Swat Commando! It will make a nice companion with my S&W 15-22 and my Sig 522 Classic. The rifle comes with a Williams peep sight but no instructions on how to sight it in:confused:
So, for a Williams peep, clockwise or counter clockwise to raise point of impact? Clockwise or counter clockwise to move point of impact to the right?
thanks in advance for any help.
I have a question about your rifle!
I just shot a Sig 522 Commando that came with a folding, adjustable stock out at a Reno range.
Are those allowed in California?
It was pretty sweet and I'd like to get one.

Yes they are. The OAL is over 26" when folded.

Can't help you on the CW/CCW question but each click on the Williams sight corresponds to 1/4" @100 yds, 1/8" @ 50 yds. Suggest you start at 50 yds and just get on paper. Then fire one round, move the elevation CW for 8 clicks and see which way point of impact moves. Then do the same for windage. Or email Williams for the info.

Thanks for the responses.
1.Yep, the 522 Swat Commando is Cali legal.:)
2.I had a chance to take it to the range on Friday. Turns out all I needed to do is loosen a set screw and physically move the sight for both elevation and windage. No problems sighting in at 25 yds.
