I'd like to sell my nearly new (150 rounds fired) XD45 Compact. I bought this new a few years ago but it has become a safe queen (I shoot my other XD45 all the time). I have 6 compact magazines, 3 with Pierce grip extensions, and one full size 10 rounder with the sleeve. All the XD gear and case included.

Price of gun with one compact mag (with pierce extension) and full size mag, as provided when new - $425 - Sold

Price with everything - $500

If the gun sells without all of the mags, I'll sell the remaining mags for $90. - I have 5 compact magazines, 2 with Pierce grip extensions Moved to "parts for sale".

Or trade for a similar condition Gen 3 Glock 17. Let me know what you have!

Thanks for looking,

Chuck

Keep the XD you'll regret trading it. I have 2 glocks and this same XD45 compact. I think the XD is a little better than the Glock. I just prefer the way Glocks look over the way the XD looks. XDs have more metal parts and are made well and jam less. I bought it off a friend of mine because he was desperate for cash and made me a great deal. I was going to flip it untill I took it shooting and I love it now.

Would you sell your 3 pearce grip mags without the gun?

Hey I love Glocks and the XD45 too, but what do you mean jam less? Are you trying to say Glocks have a reputation for jamming?
In all honesty I am trying to remember seeing a Glock jam in person.
I don't think I've ever seen it happen.

Just speaking out of personal experience. My Glocks (wich I love) jam slightly more often than my XD. I shoot steel case ammo cause its cheaper. I had to replace the recoil spring in my 17C to a lower poundage one for it to eject ok. the steel case works flawlessly in my XD and has never jammed in it.

I own many XD's and a few Glocks, I like them all and they all function 100% if you do your part (use decent ammo, don't modify it and know how to hold it). Many (not all) failures can be traced to improper grip/hold of the gun. I've shot for 40 years, some of it competitively. Many a times a "poor shooting semi-auto" suddenly became reliable once the shooter was shown how to hold it.

Strange how my WTT thread got a little of track, but it's OK, I appreciate the bumps!

Now for another one.
