Mounted my new scope and got it zeroed at 100 yards, how do I figure out how much internal elevation I used to get to my zero?

turn down untill it bottoms out, counting the clicks or MOA. That is how much you used. Return to your zero and dial up, that is what you have left.

Right, turn it in the direction that would lower your impacts. Most scopes that clockwise.
