View Full Version : Scope for my Saiga

I would like a scope for my 7.62x39 Saiga. I thought about a POSP but it seems some people are not happy with them. I would like to spend between $100-150. I know that's not a lot when it comes to optics, but there has to be a decent scope for that amount. A 4x scope is more than enough. Iron sights are what I mainly shoot with. This is just for better accuracy when needed.

I love my posp 4x24, maybe those people didn't know how to use it. Anyways I recommend the posp

Which one did you get and how much?

POSP 4X is about the most I'd put on it. Check around ebay for a used one make sure it has the AK clamp and you're good to go.

I've seen a Romanian on for a PSL. Can the clamp be changed?

Yes. Kalinka sells the clamps for 20-30$. If the pins don't line up you can pull them out with a pair of pliers. Alternatively you can buy a weaver scope mount off ebay for probably 50$ and then mount a cheapie red dot like the vortex. That is all I would do for a Saiga your best group at 100 is probably 3-4" anyways.
