I found this in Gunbroker:

Is this a reasonable deal?

Reed's had better deals on 9mm during the Xmas season.

I got 1000 rounds of CCI Blazer 9mm at Reed's for 129 right before Christmas

I went to Reed's last week and the CCI Blazer Brass was no longer on sale. :(

Seller raised the price to $159. :(

$75/1000 bullets
$20 for primers
$10 for powder
$105 for ammo that will out-shoot pretty much any factory ammo in my 210s and GLOCKS.
Start reloading ;)

Outdoor Marksman has PMC bronze for $135/1000 and Independence for $129/1000 and if you're just going for cheap plinking ammo you might as well get one of those.

So to get back on topic, nah, not a screaming deal. Not worth to save a few bucks to buy from an individual.

Edit: shipping from OM to me is $18 , so even with that added their prices are about the same as what the seller is asking

I emailed them about a group buy for $135 shipped. Min 10 cases. Waiting for a reply.

I order a couple cases on the 24th. Got the $149 shipped price. Hopefully they'll show up tomorrow. Never had a problem with PMC in any caliber. Good stuff..

And yes I'd be interested in a couple more cases at a group buy price of $135 each shipped.

That's a no-go. Sorry, I forgot to update this thread sooner.

thanks for trying, Mach1:)

btw, anyone heard PMC getting out of the ammo biz? I read on swissrifle forum people called PMC to order berdan primers and are told PMC is leaving the ammo biz to others.

PMC 9mm 115gr/124gr ammo is anemic.

It would not cycle my Colt 9mm AR carbine. I thought I had a problem, until I realized it was the ammo - but the 9mm AR carbine worked fine with IMI, etc.

Admittedly Colt 9mm ARs are really designed for hotter loads (w/147gr 'black tip' bullets, etc.) but regular rounds should at least cycle.
