View Full Version : PLEAS HELP A CALGUNNER! WTB: High Standard shotgun stock

08-24-2011, 2:17 PM
I'll try to keep this short, I'm a little PO'd. I bought a JC Higgins Model 20 (read: High Standard 200) a few months back with money my Grandparents left me. I was taking the stock off today to take it and get it engraved in memory to them. ANYWAYS the 50 year old bolt required too much torque to turn and cracked off a huge part of the wood/finish on the outside.... repairable maybe but I don't want to get a damaged stock engraved.

I'm hoping someone has one that they would sell me. Numrich is sold out and the other website (Bob's Guns) has them, but there all 80$. It's not really in my budget to spend this much (although now it may have to be).

Located in Nipomo.
