I read recently that parts to fix any hi cap mag can be ordered from out of state. In order for a mag to be considered "repaired" it must contain at least 1 old part. Does this mean I can take my 7 Hi Cap mags and "repair" into 28, each containing one old part??
I actually need to repair one, as I have one follower, spring, and floorplate.......................so getting a body isn't an issue is it??

Get a mag body from C-Products and you should be good to go. C-Products indicates on their website that it is legal to purchase the mag body for repair/restoration purposes if you have a legal hicap mag.

That is not correct, that is not a requirement in the least.

Yep. It doesn't have to have ANY old parts. You just can't end up w/ more hicaps than you started out w/.
