I've got a bunch of threads I'm starting about a Utah to Socal move so bear with me..

I'm bringing with me 4 handguns at this point, two Glocks, A Remington R1 1911, and a Ruger MKIII 22/45. I understand I'll have to pay $19 each to register them (within 60 days).

Are there any limitations on particular handguns brought into the state? Can I bring a Ruger LCP? Are there particular handguns that aren't allowed?

you can bring in any handgun that is not considered an AW or SBS. Look at the handgun flowchart for more info, http://www.calguns.net/caawid/hgflowchart.pdf

yes, you can bring in an LCP. No, you can't bring in a Taurus Judge (or any other handgun that chambers .410 shotgun shells).

Jack - Shame on you. AW. Shouldn't be banned semi automatic pistols?
