My son and I were in Prescott yesterday and he picked up a couple of California marked handguns:
Davis Industries P-380 made in Chino, CA:

He found it at J&G for $90 plus tax. I wasn't surprised at all he bought the cheap pistol but I was surprised when the salesman brought out the box.

Next is a Chinese Tokarev in 9mm:

He found this one in Prescott Valley and it was $150, so he snagged it too.
It's marked:
Model 213 9x19 KSE POMONA CA.
MADE IN CHINA

No real purpose to this except to show a bit of California history.

Oh, and if anybody has mags for either of these, let me know (the Tok takes the mags with the 7.62 body and spacer inside the mag)

They show up fairly often around here, usually for around $200. They're not C&R so getting one to you in CA would be a pain. I took a 7.62 Tok and put a 9mm barrel in it. The barrel bushing is hard to find so I opened up a 7.62 bushing. The magazines are hardest to find and expensive when you do; they need a spacer in the back of the mag with a short follower to work right. Not impossible or even difficult -- just needs some work.
