That's a good deal!

I reload for $10 a box, but I sure as heck wouldn't shoot someone elses reloads unless it was FACTORY reloads.

RWS are magnetic bullets aren't they? I hear those aren't allowed on most ranges, right?

Depends where you are at. I lived in norcal, everywhere allowed them.

Also if its for a class, Ive never seen a restriction on magnetic bullets as long as they arent steel core.

RWS is bi-metal jacket, lead core.

RWS .45acp is not magnetic. It's my favorite ammo for price/performance currently in my 1911's.

I think you need to double check the 230 gr. I'm sitting here with a fresh box of RWS .45 auto Sport Line 230gr. FMJ (says Match Grade in the upper right corner on the large label side) and a magnet.

is it still sporting the bi metal label? Last time I was shooting the 9mm they were sparking like crazy.

Plus, you don't have to chase brass. Enjoy your class and don't feel like you are leaving something valuable behind on the ground.

Sorry for the delay in replying, I was out of town for the night.

The RWS 45acp 230gr FMJ I get from weaponsworld is marked Sport Line, but does not carry any "bi metal" labelling and is non-magnetic.

Good to know. I rarely buy factory .45acp anymore.
