I sold my Glock 23 in order to get a Sig Sauer P226 that I absolutely adore in 9mm. But now I'm stuck w/o a so called compact gun. I do like the size of the Ruger LCP but not the DAO. Is there something similar to its size that is SA or both and around that price range in 9mm.

I prefer to get a bit slimmer frame than a G23. That FNP-9 looks pretty slick.

I am pretty sure, not 100% though, the 9mm P99c is lighter and thus, a bit slimmer?

Model: P99C AS
Caliber: 9mm
Barrel Length: 3.5"
Dimensions, L/H/W: 6.6"/4.3"/1.3"
Weight (without Mag): 18.7 oz.
Sights: 3-dot adj.
Magazine Capacity: 10 Rounds
Trigger: AS
Trigger Weight: 11 lbs./5 lbs.

I think the FNP-9 is like 24oz?

The P99c also comes in SA and SA/DA models

Wow, they list the width of the Ruger LCP at .82" of an inch. I guess not many 9mm can be made that slim.

if you love your P226... then consider one from the same family and caliber; P225.

Maybe get the P228 so you can swap out magazines?

Not to your specs, but I have a Glock 30 I'd sell...

get a sub-compact Glock...I love my G27 ....doesn't kick hard at all, and very concealable

Not a 9mm, but a Sig P238 fits the rest of the bill. About the same size as the LCP, single action trigger. I like my P238 so much I recently picked up a used LCP just so I wouldn't scuff up the finish on the Sig :p

The sub-compact Glocks are cool, but if you're looking to approach LCP thin then a Glock would be out of the question. My Glock 26 and my Glock 17 are just as thick as each other for example.

Exactly, I'm looking for something slimmer like the LC9 or LCP and around the same price tag. I'm not sure if they make a 9mm that fits the bill.

I have never shot or held one, but maybe a Springfield EMP 1911 9mm? Its a 25oz gun (bit heavy compared to LC9) thats around the same size as a Glock 26, but thinner single stacked, and of course single action. Sorry but I have no idea what the price is, which may be more than you want to spend.

It may be a little bit bigger than what you're looking for (about the size of a Glock 19), but I would throw the CZ P-01 into the mix. It's very accurate, the ergos are amazing, and it's a very, very tough little gun. I love mine.

Sig 238. It is not 9mm but with .380 ammo now a days and your criteria, that is what I would go for.

for a subcompact semi auto without compromise in caliber... the G26 is one to consider. reliability, manageable recoil, good accuracy and durability are features of this gun.

EMP in 9mm would be awesome if they weren't nearly impossible to find and/or super expensive. I'd love one.

A Sig P238 would be great even though it is "only" a .380. I think with the right load, it's fine for it's purpose. Unfortunately, the P238 is off-roster and also expensive.

Sig 238 and SA EMP 9mm are a bit pricey. Anything in the $400ish range?

Get an LC9 Ruger Michael Bane has a good write up on it search for it on google... they are $399. No not a Single action but they are getting favorable reviews. Best!

I'd go with a P-01 compact or a P220 compact.
