I have an excellent condition paratrooper stock from the 60's. Rare model that slides in and out to extend. I no longer have an M1 and would like to sell the stock. It is a really cool addition to any M1 carbine.

$200 or trades

I'm not sure if you would happen to know, but do you think that If I had a current m1 in a .22 today, that it would be able to drop into something like your paratrooper stock? or like this paratrooper stock?

I was going to get this m1 http://www.tombstonetactical.com/catalog/citadel/m1-carbine-22lr-18in-10rd-wood/ but I also really want a folding paratrooper stock for it that properly fits.
thanks

Not my thread although thought i would offer some info, I have experiance with. I know my 1980's Universal M1 Carbine does not fit GI M1 stocks. Close and will fit with work but not a "drop in" by any means... So if the Citadel is like my Universal then.....

Is your universal a .22 or .30?
I was hoping to buy this .22 m1 and this stock as well and put the .22 into this stock.
