Ok so I hate to sound like a weenie but... Does anyone else have a problem with the Pearce extensions pinching the pads on your pinky? I got some for my G27 and it seems to pinch in that sharp edge where the frame and mag meet.

If the sharp edge pinches your finger try sanding it down lightly with some 400 grit sandpaper to remove the edge.

If that doesn't work then maybe try a band-aid around your pinky.

Yeah. I tried rounding off that little corner already but I think I'm gonna just get the dremel out and knock off the whole little "shelf"

Get a grip, er, I mean "glove" ;) Fingerless bicycle gloves work just fine

The gloves would work fine for the range but this is meant to be a carry gun, and I don't think the world is ready for that to come back from the 80's :D. Of course if I was to use it in a defensive situation I doubt this would bother me. I guess I'm just nit-picking now :)

I have pearce +1s on my G27 and I have never had an issue with a pinched pinky (except for when I squeeze my own hand too hard ;) ).
I do have rather slender and boney fingers though...

I also have gloves for shooting that I use in the winter time. They are old Manzella "gripper" gloves that the fingers wore out, so I cut them off. Those things always keep my hands warm.

If what you're saying is that maybe I have fat fleshy fingers... Well yeah. I guess I do :D

Why would you buy a G27 and then add a extension? Wasn't the point of the purchase to have a small gun? Should of went with the G23.

It happens on my G26, but only when the pinky is too high. Place your pinky in the center of the finger groove and it doesn't pinch. If you have fat fingers, then I don't know what to suggest. I have fairly small hands.

To answer for myself, I have 2 mags with the extensions and 2 mags without. The mags without would be the ones carried in the pistol during CCW. The mags with the grip extensions are for extra mags. I practice shooting the pistol with both.

The extensions are purely for my pinky finger. 2 fingers around the gun don't give me alot of grip. The 23 is an option (I have a 19) but the short barrel on the 27 is another reason I prefer it, and when it's in the ankle holster its not that much bigger. ;)

:D Not my intention at all, just that mine can be kind of "boney" ;)

Even with the extension the G27 is considerably smaller than the 23. Are you thinking about the extensions that let you use G23 mags in the 27?
