I haven't done the trigger pack yet. The housing is at a friends house getting the front pin silver soldered in before I mill it out for the fake pin s/a deal. The one pictured is off of my greek sar-8. This one is welded up but I haven't had the chance to fire it yet. I'm waiting for paint over park until after I know it works perfectly. With the stock collapsed, it is 30.25 inches total. The mag is pinned by modifying the mag catch. The mag itself is ten round with a bar welded to the follower and the floorplate welded to the spring floorplate which prevents it from being removed.

I believe Calguns member hiyabrad went gripless on his PTR. I have a gripless triggerhousing myself but have not used it. Instead I'm working on a "oar stock" from an old SR9 thumbhole stock that I'm going to fill in.

I don't have any pics at the moment. I cut the end of the mag catch itself off far enough that the button sits tight on the receiver. I then drilled a new hole for the roll pin. Pretty simple. Mine is shorter than most and still long enough. With a 16" barrel you can't go too short but you can get clooossseeeeee.

Ok, the G3 is the "PTR-91 / HK-91"

What is the MP5 body called?

Someone had an MP5 champbered in .40 at BC on Sunday and I really liked the way it felt and I want to build one.

The G3 is the select fire version of the HK91. An MP5 is the select fire version of the HK94.

Keep in mind that HK91, HK93, HK94 and PSG1 are all banned per Roberti Roos.

Theres no mention of HK41, HK43, HK911, SR9 (and variants) PTR91, SW3, SW5, Vector, Bobcat/Coharie, CAI (FMP), etc etc. These can be imported into the state provided they meet SB23.

Some excellent HK licensed clones are the Springfield G3 (this one is a semi auto but rare) Sar-3 (preban) and Sar-8 (post ban, greek ones only). Also the FMP XG3 (preban) and XG3S (postban).

That was my Vector at the shoot :D

Cohaire Arms who actually makes it for Vector, it cost a bit more from Vector but they warranty it (UPS broke a part when it got shipped and Vector replaced it because Cohaire used a inferior part in the first place) I'd say get the Vector if you want it in .40, .357, 10mm... I don't think Vector plans to get anymore 9mm ones in.. but you get no bolt catch with the 9mm

Hesse/Vulcan makes "clones" also but well Hesse/Vulcan has a ****ty reputation and people say their clones are just blowback.. while it should be roller-delayed blowback..

All my rifles were either complete, or barrelled receivers (like the HK SR9 in the pic). Jayson at IGF is doing a G3 build for me, and will prolly do an MSG90 build on one of the stripped JLD receivers shown at right. The other will be a PRK legal HK21 built by RDTS once I let the ol' Visa cool off for a bit.

All these rifles have 10/20 (and 10/40 for the V93) mags modded by myself, as well as my magazine lock.

Has anyone put together a Bobcat BW5 or other MP5 clone? If so what configuration do you have it in? I want to put mine together and be able to finally test it out, but I donít know whether to fix the mag, switch out the stock and try to fab it to work, or go with a fixed mag set up.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

The few I have seen were gripless. Thats not to say a locked-10 wouldnt work...

That Vector was very cool, no felt recoil at all, thanks for letting me shoot it BTW.
