Has anyone tried a 7.62x25 to .22lr adapter for a TT-33 or CZ-52? I don't really have a need for one but thought the idea was cool.

The pictures are from a gunbroker ad. I won the auction and will be playing with them soon. I'm guessing it wont cycle the action but will still be fun.

I already hate collecting brass, let a long collecting something that I REALLY would need to keep.

Those round adapters are for Polish .22lr Tokarev conversion and I don't think they will work with regular Toc/CZ chambered for 7.62x25. The .22LR barrel has 7.62x25 chamber in order to be able to use Tokarev mags. It uses dedicated .22 springs and cycles just fine, but you need to pick up those adapters every time and they are not cheap to replace and somewhat scarce. I parsonally didn't shoot one, but looked at one in 82 or 83 while in service.

That makes sense. I figured there had to be more than the 1/2 inch barrel of the adapter. :) I hoped there was a .22 barrel for the CZ-52, but the TT-33 is fun too. I'll keep an eye open for the barrel now. Otherwise I guess they are just good for snake loads. Thanks!

I found an auction link for a TT-33 chambered in .22lr. Pricey. Damn. Ouch.

It's Polish, just like Vepr62 said, Radom TT-33
