The "finger grip thing" is called a Tyler T-Grip. The last Model 19 I bought was $189. It was pretty beat up on the outside, but the bore and action were in great shape. Tight lock-up. Carried a lot, shot very little.

The exterior of your 19 looks good. Most people would like to see a pic of the other side so they can see the screws and the sideplate. If the other mechanical aspects of the gun are good, it's worth whatever you can get for it.

I would maybe pay $400 for it.

ANY PRE LOCK/MIM 4 inch or shorter S&W revolver in 38/357 that looks half way decent STARTS at 300.00 and goes up from there.

I bought an unfired P&R four inch model 65 from 1978 in the box for 500.00 out the door.

I do it again anytime.

There are some really nice examples for 2 1/2 inch model 66's form the 1970's that start at 600.00 and go up to 800.00-850.00

I assume no box, papers or original grips. Any provenance known? LE gun, etc.

Condition looks good. Depending on inspection I'd likely offer $300 as shown. The grip and grip adapter are of no additional value to me, unless there is provenance, and I'd replace them with either correct OEM grips or Pachmayr Gripper Profesisonal if the gun is a pure shooter. That brings the price down in my eye.

I'll take that Tyler T grip off your hands if you're inclined.
I'll get back to you with an offer.
I will say that $4-500 for a Model 19 is the going price in my neck of the woods.
